This is the eighth video in a series of 21 by Dr Vincent Knight of Cardiff University. Here we see how to add sections and subsections to your LaTeX documents, and how to refer to them using the \ref and \label commands. By using \label and \ref commands, the references always point to the correct section, even if you change the order of the sections later. This tutorial builds on from the earlier video which demonstrated how to add title, author and date fields to the start of your LaTeX document. To create your own version of the file from the video to use as a template, click here to open the 'Sections and Referencing' example.
