eLife simplifies submission for authors through new collaborations

Cambridge, UK – Friday, January 13, 2017: eLife is integrating new authoring tools into its submission system to give authors more choice about how they submit their work.

eLife, the non-profit initiative inspired by research funders and led by scientists, aims to help scientists accelerate discovery by operating a platform for research communication that encourages and recognises the most responsible behaviours in science. eLife is now working with Overleaf, Manuscripts.app, PubRef and Authorea, to allow authors to write and submit research to the journal as quickly and easily as possible.

Case Study - Wellcome Open Research - State-of-the-Art Journal Writing and Publishing Platform

Wellcome has launched an open research publishing platform which will enable their grantees to rapidly publish all outputs from their research. They use state-of-the-art services developed by and integrated with F1000Research which support faster research outputs, reproducibility and transparency - this includes integration with Overleaf for authoring services and editorial workflow. The platform will allow Wellcome grantees to publish a wide variety of outputs from standard research articles and data sets, through to null and negative results.

London – Oct 11, 2016: Simplifying submission procedures for Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society - The Royal Astronomical Society (RAS), a learned society that encourages and promotes the study of astronomy, solar-system science and closely related branches of science, and a publisher of international research journals, and Overleaf, a collaborative, cloud-based writing and reviewing tool, today announce a new partnership. This partnership will provide an authoring template and simplified submission link for Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society (MNRAS), published by Oxford University Press on behalf of the RAS.
