We’re always working to make Overleaf better by introducing new features and improving existing ones. Here’s a short update on what we’ve been up to lately:

Journals and Services Menu – Academic Journals Search

When you’re ready for your work to reach a wider audience, search for a journal right from the Journals and Services menu. Begin typing a journal name, keyword, or publisher name and view results instantly. Start the submission process with a click:

If you don't see your favorite journal listed, please let us know and we'll work with that publisher to include it!

Project Views Count

Back by popular demand – project views count for read-only mode! Keep track of how many times your project has been viewed with the read-only link. Click the share button in read-only mode, and view the count above the read only link:

Performance Improvements

We’ve made lots of changes behind the scenes to improve the user experience, and increase performance. This is important because we recently hit a big milestone: 700,000 confirmed users!

We have some further product updates coming soon – stay tuned! Happy LaTeXing!
