Getting psfrag to work in pdflatex
An example using the pstool package to get \psfrag commands working with .eps images in pdflatex. There's a caveat; after the initial compile, if you add more \psfrag or change the replacements, it doesn't auto-update the replacements in the PDF output on Overleaf unless you do a recompile from scratch, or the .eps file itself is updated.
Use the psfrag package to replace strings in EPS images, so that they are typeset with the same body font as your LaTeX document. Note that your project needs to be compiled with the LaTeX dvipdf engine.
(The sample image is taken from the psfrag package.
Template for submissions to Journal of the Royal Statistical Society: Series A, Series B, and Series C
This is the Overleaf template for the Royal Statistical Society’s three publications, Journal of the Royal Statistical Society: Series A (Statistics in Society), Journal of the Royal Statistical Society: Series B (Statistical Methodology), and Journal of the Royal Statistical Society: Series C (Applied Statistics). It is a generic template that allows authors to write in either Rich Text or LaTeX formats, and has multiple options designed to work for a number of journals participating in Wiley’s pilot with Overleaf.
Please refer to the journals' author guidelines (Series A, Series B, Series C) in order to confirm your manuscript adheres to the journal’s requirements for submissions; note, without exception, the reference style used should be that provided in the template. Should the journal style differ, the references will be reformatted during production if the manuscript is accepted for publication.
Once your manuscript is complete, simply use the "Submit to Journal" option in the Overleaf editor to submit your files directly to the journal for processing. If you're new to LaTeX, check out our free online introduction to help you get started, or please get in touch if you have any questions.
