The Journal of Biological Chemistry (JBC) Manuscript Template
The Journal of Biological Chemistry (JBC) Manuscript Template
The Journal of Biological Chemistry (JBC) and Overleaf created this template to give JBC authors the option to create their manuscript using the Overleaf LaTeX writing tool. This JBC formatted template includes instructions to authors about each manuscript section, which authors may read and then replace with their manuscript text. Authors may use this template to prepare their Regular Papers and Accelerated Communications, however, note that Accelerated Communications have length restrictions. All authors should review the JBC instructions to authors for other important information. After authors have entered their manuscript into the template, they may upload the PDF generated by Overleaf to the JBC submission site. If you're new to Overleaf and LaTeX, check out our tutorial video and free introductory course for help getting started.

Template for preparing your submission to GENETICS using Overleaf
Template for preparing your submission to GENETICS using Overleaf
Overleaf and the Genetics Society of America (GSA) have created this template for authors submitting manuscripts to GENETICS. The template allows authors to easily prepare and edit their manuscripts using Overleaf. Authors can then submit manuscripts to GENETICS by using the PDF and source files generated from Overleaf. To begin writing online (in your browser), simply click the Open as Template button, above. The Overleaf template will be loaded, and additional guidelines for preparing your submission are included within the template itself. Universal Manuscript Template for OSA journals
Universal Manuscript Template for OSA journals
LaTeX manuscripts submitted to OSA journals as of 30 May 2018 may use these instructions and this new single-column universal template format. Note that the final publishing format of OSA journals is not changing at this time, and authors will still need to adhere to article-length restrictions based on the final publishing format (which for some journals is two columns). Once your article is complete, you may submit it directly to Prism (the OSA's article tracking system) via the 'Submit to OSA' option in the Overleaf editor. Authors of Optics Letters articles and Optica letters and memoranda should continue using the legacy template for an accurate length check. Please note that OSA is no longer using OCIS codes.
