This meta-paper describes the style to be used in articles and short papers
for SBC conferences. For papers in English, you should add just an abstract
while for the papers in Portuguese, we also ask for an abstract in
Portuguese (``resumo''). In both cases, abstracts should not have more than
10 lines and must be in the first page of the paper.
página do artigo.

This is a nice example brochure template provided by Nicola Talbot using the flowfram package.
The flowfram package lets you create frames in a document such that the document content flows from one frame to the next in the order in which they were defined.
This is useful for creating posters or magazines or any other form of document that does not conform to the standard one or two column layout.
Here we present the sample brochure provided with the flowfram package - it is preloaded into writeLaTeX and ready for real-time editing online. Simply click the screenshot above to create your own brochure and get started!

Not just for technical papers - LaTeX can be used to create remarkable images with just a few lines of code.
This example is Sunset by Elena Botoeva, and by opening in writeLaTeX you can see how adjusting the code alters the images.

Did you know it's possible to draw paths between nodes and across different pictures in LaTeX? This example shows how to easily draw connecting arrows in presentations with the Beamer package.
We've pre-loaded this great example originally published on TeXample.net for you to try out on writeLaTeX.
To read more about this feature head to this page on the TeXample site, or just click above to get started.

This two-column template also incorporates a great coloured title effect.
