Abstract Algebra Lecture Notes
This is a set of notes for the first two chapters of an Abstract Algebra course, following the Hungerford textbook table of contents.
One notable feature is the use of a couple of commands that allow one to show only definitions, or only the examples, etc., and another command that allows one to format examples for making handouts.
Template that I use usually.

An Overview of the Development of a Quantum Computer Simulator
Since the conception of the Quantum Computer (QC), their potential for greater magnitudes in speed of processing calculations has been realised by the vast majority of interested parties. This has led to a recent push in research and development in creating a stable QC which can perform quantum algorithms. To aid the creation of a stable and highly available quantum computer, simulators have been developed as a tool to as the thought processes. This report discusses details of a project that aims to investigate around the subject area, and produce an application to allow users to simulate quantum algorithms on a QC.
NoSQL - A Silver Bullet?
Fred Brooks Jr. outlined four inherent problems in software engineering in his paper No Silver Bullet. Being written almost thirty years ago new technologies have been developed which have not been evaluated against these properties. This paper will be evaluating the features of NoSQL databases and look to see how they affect the problems, whether positively or negatively.
