Starting a New Era with 11 Million Users and 100 Million Projects
Our community keeps getting bigger!
Wow! 🤯 Overleaf now has more users than the population of Paris or the Dominican Republic, with 11 million registered users, and now hosts more than 100 million projects 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉. It was only 5 months ago that we hit the 10 million user mark. The entire team at Overleaf is so excited and grateful. Thank you so much to the Overleaf community!
We know we would not have reached these milestones without your trust in Overleaf. With the recent changes in leadership at Overleaf, we want to reiterate our commitment to the important responsibility we have for supporting our worldwide community of users from a wide variety of disciplines and industries and ensuring that they are able to do their work more quickly and easily. This commitment includes continuing to improve Overleaf and enhancing our processes to bring you highly requested improvements and valuable new features even faster.
We are proud that we are able to offer so much value to so many users as part of our free product, and that we also are able to provide added value to users on our paid plans.
Since our last milestone we have released a few popular enhancements and features, and we have more on the way.
PDF Detach
We were surprised by just how excited everyone was about PDF detach. The announcement tweet was one of our most liked ever. Sometimes the simplest things are the most meaningful.
Stop on First Error
We also introduced a new Stop on First Error compilation mode to make it easier to find the problematic errors in your project as soon as they appear.
These improvements and features are just a start, and we can’t wait for you to see what else we have planned. We also want to remind you that in just a few months Overleaf will be celebrating its 10th anniversary 🎉. We have some fun things planned, so stay tuned!
